Our Story
We live where the winter is long
We are in Muskoka, where the lake goes quiet in November and stays that way until April. Six months of dark afternoons teaches you what a house actually needs: heavy things, warm light, and a chair nobody argues over.
Most of what we make is cotton, and most of it gets worn. A garment-dyed hoodie that comes out of the wash softer than it went in. Joggers for the drive up and the whole weekend after. A cord crew with thumbholes, for the first coffee on the dock. One mark on the chest, nothing else on it. The sherpa at the end of the couch is there for the same reason, it is the thing everyone reaches for, and nobody gives it back.
Everything we make is designed in Muskoka and built to be kept. No seasonal churn, no fuss. If it will not last a decade of winters, we do not sell it.
